Future Engineering supplied the solutions for accomplishing the quality requests for fire security during the MARTIFER owned project. In the course of this project, our professionals have implemented an interior granary fire detection and warning system for the 7 seed deposits and have also completed the enlargement of the fire hydrant exterior network.

Because of the functional specifics of this project and the atypical conditions met during exploitation, we chose, along with Siemens – the supplier, to implement a detection selection able to insure the highest level of protection for the objectives. The 7 deposits of the granary have been automatized with signaling installments for fire prevention, equipped with detection elements adapted to the conditioned imposed by the nature of the project. Furthermore, alarm buttons have been installed, along with horns and command modules for the ventilation system. The signaling center was installed, according to all norms, in the command and control room. The alarms were installed locally, through audio video equipment, as well as remote, through communicators.

The exterior hydrant network has been extended through the installation of a new pipe section and 2 more hydrants, along with increasing the water reserve capacity.
